Beware AI Video: Real People Replicated Nearly Flawlessly - Part 1

The Wall Street Journal's personal technology reporter, Joanna Stern, used a variety of artificial intelligence tools to create a short video starring a computer-generated version of herself. Except for her voiceover narration, it was totally created by computers. You'd be hard-pressed to tell the real Joanna from her AI counterpart. Here is the text version of this story. While this type of sophisticated technology could be used for legitimate purposes, imagine how evil-doers might use it to create false impressions. We'll show you that even more amazing video next week.
