For three years we've been urging supermarket chains to figure out a way to offer digital coupons to those folks who are not tech-savvy and don't have or can't use the internet or a smartphone. Kroger is the latest chain to come up with a solution in at least some of their divisions. It is a paper "super coupon" with a single barcode that will automatically deduct the savings promised for that week's advertised digital deals upon scanning it at checkout.

The American Consumer Satisfaction Index just released its annual survey of full service chain restaurants like Applebee's, Chili's, The Cheesecake Factory, etc. Topping the list for customer satisfaction is Texas Roadhouse, followed closely by Longhorn Steakhouse. Microsoft has been pestering Windows 10 users to upgrade to Windows 11 because security and support updates for Windows 10 are slated to end this Ocober. For people who cannot or don't want to update, they have been offering an extended service plan for one year for $30. Just last week however, they introduced a couple of new "free" extension options including redeeming 1,000 Microsoft points that people accumulate when using Edge and Bing for searches.

People you know or don't know can have their likenesses manipulated to convince you to part with your money. This is an absolutely amazing video featuring spokespeople or authority figures all of whom are fake.
