A big Massachusetts health plan offers members $240 worth of over-the-counter health care products for free annually. One consumer says the company providing the benefit inflates the price of items so he is really not getting the full value he expected.

Power surveyed over 41,000 auto insurance buyers to determine their satisfaction with their car insurer's billing process and policy information; claims; interaction; policy offerings; and price. Satisfaction levels have dropped over the past year as rates have gone up for many car owners. Here are the satisfaction rankings of the major car insurance companies by region in the U.S.
This appliance guide by consumer advocate Christopher Elliott gives you the average lifespan of most major appliances, and strategies for getting one of the 3 "Rs" if if goes on the fritz early in its life. His site also has a comprehensive list of high-level corporate contacts (not just in the appliance industry) for when you need to escalate your complaint.
The much beloved chain of stores called Christmas Tree Shops is in bankrupcty and a liquidator has been hired to run their going out of business sale. The store is accused of restickering products with higher prices, and then offering a measily 10% off the inflated price. That's against Massachusetts law says MrConsumer if it was done by the liquidator.
