This story suggests signing up for a particular travel newsletter that spotlights limited time deals, and checking sections of two websites where a variety of lower-than-usual discount fares are shown. This second story offers tips on getting better car rental deals.
Last week, ProPublica released an investigative report showing how telemarketing scammers induced victims to buy Walmart gift cards. They then laundered those cards by buying other gift cards using the Walmart gift cards. Those new cards were then quickly sold to innocent purchasers.
