Say Bye-Bye to $199 iPhones and 2-Year Cell Contracts
T-Mobile started it two years ago, and now it's AT&T's turn. The company is slowly phasing out two-year contracts and subsidization of the latest phones like the iPhone 6 (which has allowed customers to pay only $199 upfront). Expect to have to pay full price -- $649 for top-of-the-line cellphones or $27 a month on an installment plan.
