Dear Consumer World User:
Like so many Internet sites, Consumer World is facing financial hard times. Since its inception in 1995, Consumer World
has been a public service site, providing useful consumer information to the Internet community without charge. At the same
time, since Consumer World is non-commercial, it did not seek paid advertising.
As a consumer education professional for the past 21 years, I would like Consumer World to continue to be
available free to the public because it provides a valuable service (and has become the largest consumer
information site on the Internet, with over 1700 links, and approaching 1,000,000 users a year).
I ask for your help to keep Consumer World alive. We need a "good guy"
corporate underwriter which understands the value of consumer education and would financially support Consumer World. For such a company, the benefits include reaching a target audience of nearly 1 million consumer-savvy shoppers, and enhancing the company's goodwill by supporting consumer education.
I welcome your specific leads that could help keep this important service available to the public.
Please feel free to e-mail your ideas to: edgar@consumerworld.org
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
