Continuing its series of dirty little secrets of various industries, Smart Money turns to seafood restaurants. Among the revelations, restaurants make up fanciful names for unpopular fish types, and sometimes you could become a victim of bait and switch whereby a less expensive species of fish is substituted for what is on the menu.
Daily Low Dose Aspirin Questioned For years, many of us have been taking low dose aspirin daily to help stave off heart problems. Now new research questions the risks of doing that. Apparently, for people at low risk of heart disease, the 55% increased incidence of stomach or brain bleeding outweighs the benefits of taking a daily aspirin.

The Hotel Price Comparison Site with Lower Prices (Sometimes) When we check airfares, we tend to find the same prices no matter which site you look at. That is not true for hotels. Different sites charge different prices for the same hotel accommodations. According to travel expert, Ed Perkins, Yuupon.com sometimes has significantly lower prices than other hotel comparison sites. We checked one example in Boston for July dates on Yuupon and Expedia. The Marriott Copley Place was $314 on Expedia, but only $153 on Yuupon. On the other hand, the Copley Plaza was $372 on Yuupon but $92 less on Expedia. The lesson: you have to comparison shop even for the same hotel.
