Consumer World Exclusive Survey Results

Survey: Metric Measurements on Nutrition Labels Mislead Many

nutrition facts Over 700 Consumer World readers recently were quizzed about their understanding of nutrition food labels that utilize grams (as required by the FDA) to indicate how much sugar, fat or salt is in a product. Many people grossly underestimated the amount by more than half. See all the results of the survey and our suggestion to make nutrition labels more understandable for everyone.
