Trump Dumps Consumer Info at WhiteHouse.gov

bright idea A Consumer World reader wrote to us on Sunday alarmed that our top Consumer Quickie last week -- a report by the National Economic Council about hidden fees costing Americans millions of dollars -- had been removed from WhiteHouse.gov where it was posted. (We saved a copy here). Sure enough, a new WhiteHouse.gov replaced the old one after the inauguration, taking with it not only that document but other valuable consumer information such as an easy form to report if you had been a victim of financial fraud or wrongdoing.
