Many ATMs and Fare Machines "Shortchange" the Blind

Citizens Bank A test conducted by Consumer World of over 200 ATMs and fare vending machines reveals that many are not accessible to visually-impaired customers despite new federal rules. While all three dozen Bank of America ATMs soundly passed the test, nearly half of those checked at Citizens Bank either failed to produce audible speech or had not yet been converted to "Talking ATMs."
